I was at lunch today and I had just emailed a couple of friends about attending tomorrow night's health care townhall sponcered by the SEIU and Rep. Kathy Castor (D) Socialism Rocks, (send your reports to flag@whitehouse.gov.) when I came across post at And So it Goes in Shreveport and may I say, "thank goodness I did!" Can you imagine had I shown up at meeting at 6:00 p.m. on a work day in the clothes I had worn to work? Why, Barbara Boxer might think that I was "too well dressed" to be a legitimate concerned citizen.
Obviously I can't show up in that cute pin striped suit I picked up at Nearly New for fear of appearing "wealthy". So I've settled on the clothes I wore this weekend to work in the yard.
I've seen video from several townhalls and Tea Parties and I don't know where Boxer was coming from. Everybody I've seen has looked, normal. But what difference does it make? Is there a handbook titled, The Activist's Guide to Proper Protest Attire?
Those on the Left have decades of experience at this "angry mob" thing; those of us on the Right are newbies. Cut us some slack if we're not up to speed on the dress code.

Barbara Boxer Is A Prostitute
According to Michelle Malkin, S.E.N.A.T.O.R. Barbara Boxer screws people for money.
Boxer says that she doesn’t regret the recent episodes — and that any attention her political opponents devote to them will help her in her 2010 reelection bid.
“That only revs up my people,” she told POLITICO. “I use that to send them letters and say, ‘Help me.’ So I get millions of dollars because these people are attacking me in the most ridiculous, unfair way. The more they do it, the more I get energized for my [reelection] race, and the more my supporters help me because they think it’s so ridiculous and unfair.”
Whoa, wait a minute. Boxer treats people who deserve her respect like crap and then plays herself off as a victim to her supporters? Well that certainly speaks volumes about Boxer and the quality of her supporters.
I take back the prostitute remark and apologize to prostitutes who are much more honorable than Boxer could ever be.

Compare and Contrast
I hadn’t seen this video prior to tripping across it at Legal Insurrection. Margaret Thatcher was an inspirational speaker and an honorable politician. Both are in short supply these days. I’d be willing to bet that as hard as she worked and as much as she achieved, she never objected to someone calling her Ma'am.
Compare Margaret Thatcher to Barbara Boxer. Thatcher is the “silk purse” and Boxer is the “sow’s ear”. Momma was right, you just can’t teach class.

Boxer May Be A Senator But She's Certainly Not A Lady

Well, LA TE DA. Senator Barbara Boxer showed both her ass and her lack of manners by interrupting testimony by Brigadier General Michael Walsh to instruct him that he should call her “senator” instead of “ma’am”. The senator, obviously neck deep in self importance, oozes contempt for our military. Unfortunately, the moonbats Boxer represents wouldn’t dream of calling her out on her rudeness.
Allahpundit asks, “Is Boxer’s ego so fragile and her method so imperious that she’d publicly humiliate a guy whom she has no reason to believe is being anything less than respectful?”
