Via Memeorandum:
STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?
OBAMA: You know, if -- frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely. I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.
And that my friends deserves a snort worthy, “gimme a break!” If President Obama truly is unaware that ACORN, who he has been tied to for years, has gotten “a whole lot of federal money” he has a blind spot the size of the Grand Canyon. More likely, the President believes that his “don’t know nothing about it” schtick is politically preferable to an honest discussion about his friends.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So you're not committing to -- to cut off the federal funding?
OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It's not something I'm
paying a lot of attention to.
It could be read in to that that Obama could actually veto any measure to cut off ACORN’s funding. That would not be a wise move for an administration who has touted transparency. Rather than deflecting questions about ACORN, the President should be directing Attorney Gen. Holder to appoint a Special Investigator.

The List of 75 Crap Weasels Who Voted Against De-Funding ACORN
Via Memeorandum:
Earlier I saw the list of the seventy-five disgusting pukes who voted against de-funding ACORN at both Big Government and Michelle Malkin. The following list, found at the Washington Examiner, gives each "representatives" some state. Check out the list for the morally deficit lizards in your own state and pass those names on to every single person you know. These homo-sapien wanna bes do not deserve to be in office where they decide how your hard earned tax dollars are spent.

ACCORN: The Left Shrugs and Spins
Via Memeorandum:
How has the Left responded to the ACORN scandal?
The Daily Kos uses the story to attack Sen. David Vitter.
Think Progress uses the story to attack Sen. David Vitter.
The Political Carnival uses the story to attack Sen. David Vitter
No outrage that an organization is committing fraud on the taxpayer’s dime. Child prostitution? Not worth mentioning. Has the entire Left taken complete leave of their morals as well as their minds? Are we to understand that the Left is okay with the numerous instances of lawlessness depicted on the tapes?
Apparently the Left has ‘evolved’ beyond the lowly concepts of right and wrong. In Progressiveville, has shame become passé.
Those of us who still exists on a more earthly plain are shocked by the behavior we’ve seen on the ACCORN tapes. In our little corner, crime and punishment still exists. So, let the Left ignore or spin the ACCORN story. We won’t and I promise you, we will push this story wherever it leads.

Steny Hoyer, Do You think Something's Funny?
Think about this for a moment: Tomorrow you go in to work and the man who signs your paycheck tells you he has some questions about your job performance. The boss starts questioning some of your decisions and how you arrived at decisions and you respond by laughing in his face. In fact, you seize the moment to go all Good As Gold by saying, “I don’t know” (obscure reference but well worth it). You don’t know how you arrived at your point and you don’t care. There may, or may not, have been some research done but you didn’t read it and quite frankly, you think it is laughable that the person who pays you expects just a little it more.
Welcome to the unemployment line, UNLESS, you are a member of Congress. In the little people’s World, we are held accountable by our bosses. We give a day's work for a day's pay and a whole HELL of a lot more. But in CongressLand, the workers (congressmen) expect, no demand, that the people who hired them (taxpayers) accept their shoddy work. They believe we should smile subserviently and say, “Thank you sir, may I have another?”
PARENTLY WARNING! Mom and Dad, stop reading NOW! (my parents occasionally come by) Bull flipping shit! Puppies, I put you in your job and I can take you out. I am accountable for the job I do and it is high time you are too. I expect my Congressman to know what they write, read what they write and be able to coherently stand up for what the write. I don’t want to hear excuses about “staffers” because I didn’t hire any staffers, you did, and YOU are the only person who is accountable to ME.
While we’re on the subject, wipe that grin off your face and stop laughing. Ain’t nothing funny here, and if there is, trust me, I’ll be laughing last.
