Project 2,996 is an annual tribute to the victims of 9/11. On September 11, 2006, more than 3,000 bloggers joined together to remember the victims of 9/11. Each year, they are honored by remembering their lives, and not by remembering their murderers.
Today Carol is honoring Margaret L. Benson.
The people who died on 9/11 weren't some faceless group to the people who loved them. The were mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, children, friends, neighbors. They were 2996 individuals who on 9/11 did what they had done on every working day of their lives and would have done on 9/12 had their lives been taken from them.
