Andrew Malcolm has posted video of Kseniya Simonova, a twenty-four year old sand artist at Top of the Ticket that at once powerful and breathtaking as the young woman's images evolve through a series of beatiful yet thought provoking scenes.
The Telegraph tells that the images that appear from the sand depict the invasion of Ukraine by the Germans during World War II. The work transitions between scenes of hope and despair, producing an emotional response that won't soon be forgotten.

I watched this a month or so ago and was very impressed. This is an obscure talent, but very moving in its depiction very subtlely of a horrible series of events. Not at all preachy, but very symbolic.
