Michelle Malkin: UN declares Castro a "World Hero of Solidarity"

Yes, it’s true.

The United Nations has declared misery-inducing, freedom-strangling
Cuban dictator Fidel Castro a “World Hero of Solidarity.”

Lest you think this must be some kind of sick joke, keep inmind that this the same UN that currently has Cuba as member of its Human Rights Council.

Assembly Pres.) Miguel D’Escoto, who like the socialist Morales is a staunch
critic of U.S. foreign policy in Latin America.

Can somebody tell me why we not only associate ourselves with a douchebag group like the UN but we allow it to exist inside the United States and provide the lion's share of its budget?
