Illegitimi non carborundum
Looks sort of like a grown-up Harry Potter here doesn't he? Ah, the wizard of libertarianism.
You still read Charles Johnson? Why?
Why read Charles Johnson? For the photos!
By the way, in Latin, your motto reads: "Illegitimi non carborundum."Just thought you might want to know. :)
RB and Arnold, I read Chuckles because I heard that he was cracking on Instapundit, ie., making an ass of himself again.M.E., thank you. I've added the latin to my header. It kinda classes up the place, don't you think?Anonymous, the wizard of libertarianism-I like it.
Funny post, Carol. Like your spirit. In case you didn't know already, the "Illegitimi..." motto is not real Latin. It is, however, a beloved faux-Latin phrase, so you might want to keep it up all the same. Don't let the bastardi grind you down!
aodonnell, not real latin. Well, that explains why the translater thingy didn't work. Oh, well. I like it and I think I'm going to keep it.Thank you for your kind words. Small blogs like this don't get alot of attention so it is much appreciated.
Exactly, I never cared that it wasn't real Latin, either. Who's gonna know? Except Classics Scholars like aodonnell. :)My aunt liked that faux-Latin phrase so much she cross-stitched it for me on a little banner. I have it hanging in my laundry room.
